Joseph was invited to attend an award ceremony at BYU last week for his achievement on the AMC 8, a math exam for children 8th grade and younger. Joseph scored a 12 which was one of the higher scores for his grade in the state of Utah. Joseph was particularly excited when he learned about the cash prizes for the kids that get the very highest scores in the state. He was also excited to learn about the BYU math summer camp. It was a very inspiring event and it will be great when the other kids are old enough to participate as well.
